Hello! I'm Zack, a three-year-old (approximately) Collie/Great Pyrenees mix. I am a pretty big boy, but I’m a big ol’ Teddy Bear, and I LOVE hugs and kisses. I was found running around the countryside near Luttrell, TN, chasing cows and getting shot at by irate farmers. I was severely underweight and in poor health when I was taken in by Collie Concern, a Collie rescue group in Knoxville. Collie Concern helped me regain my health, and my mom, Dr. Jane Barton, adopted me from the Collie rescue in April 2010. If you’d like to find out more about Collie Concern, or to help them in some way, you can follow the link below. They are wonderful people and they probably saved my life!
I am now living the good life, going to work at Complete Counseling every day, getting love, attention and treats from clients, therapists and staff. I love to run and play like a puppy sometimes, and I adore Abigail, the Golden Retriever who also works here as a therapy dog. She’s pretty darn cute, ya know? I am a great therapy dog because I offer complete unconditional love to all (except the mailman, FedEx man and UPS man). I like to greet clients when they first come in, then I usually nap during therapy sessions unless I’m in the mood for a belly rub and a scratch behind the ears … ah, that’s the spot!
