Angela West is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience in mental/behavioral health. She earned her Masters Degree of Social Work from the University of Tennessee in 1986 and received her license in 1989. She has extensive experience with children, adolescents and families both in outpatient and residential treatment settings. Ms West works with children and teens that are struggling with a myriad of issues including trauma reactions, substance abuse, attachment delays, grief and loss, self injurious behaviors and defiance. She also provides couples therapy and treatment of anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress and conflict resolution. She embraces a client-centered, strength-based approach to empowering individuals, couples and family therapy clients towards positive change and self discovery.
